Bona Traffic |

Bona Traffic, launched in 1999, has become a tremendous success. It is a waterborne Bona lacquer which is extremely resistant to wear and specifically designed for use in commercial premises or other areas subject to very high levels of traffic. Bona Traffic provides a clear natural appearance giving "invisible protection" and the look of an oiled floor but, unlike oil, floors finished with Bona Traffic offer years of virtually maintenance-free protection.

Bona Traffic Anti Slip is a 100% polyurethane 2-component waterborne finish offering exceptional durability and protection for wooden floors. It has all of the features of Bona Traffic but with the additional benefit of being formulated to meet the highest Standards for slip resistance in workplaces and other situations with an increased risk of wet spills. With its higher friction, Bona Traffic Anti Slip is an ideal choice for stairs, nurseries, kitchens and similar locations.

Launched in 1997, Bona Mega is one of the best-selling waterborne finishes available today. Bona Mega is one-component, but as cross linking is achieved using the oxygen in the air, it has the performance of a two-component finish without requiring any addition of hardener. It has all of the advantages of a waterborne system and a solvent content of approx. 5%. Bona Mega is suitable for wooden floors surface treatment in domestic areas. Bona Mega is available in matt, silkmatt and gloss versions.

Bona Crosslinker is an additive compatible with Bona Mega which improves properties such as adhesion and the resistance to chemicals and scuffmarks. Suitable to add to the finish in areas where more spillage and wear can be expected such as in kitchens, hallways etc.

Bona Prime Deep is an oil based primer giving the same colour and depth to the wood as the old, traditional solvent based finishes, without containing lots of dangerous components. With a long open time, application is stress-free with even results time after time. Bona Prime Deep is designed to be used with Bona’s waterborne finishes.

Bona Prime Classic is a primer which reduces the risk of side bonding and is therefore especially suitable for end grain floors, softwood plank floors and hardwood floors with under floor heating. Bona Resident is a one-component waterborne polyurethane/acrylate finish for the surface treatment of wooden floors in homes and other areas subject to normal wear. The high viscosity of this Bona product provides a well-bodied surface and makes application easy without affecting the good levelling properties. Also, Bona Resident does not cause any yellow discolouration.

Bona Novia is a one-component waterborne finish for the surface treatment of wooden floors in domestic and light commercial areas. Bona Novia can be combined with any Bona waterborne primer but also works well applied directly to wood and brings out a warm colouration to many timbers. Bona Novia is very easy and quickly to apply. Because it is a waterborne Bona product, Bona Novia achieves outstanding results while at the same time protecting the environment.

Bona Retarder |

Bona Retarder is an additive that improves the levelling and prolongs the open time of Bona waterborne finishes, both primers and top coats. It is designed to facilitate application in dry and/or warm climatic conditions. Using Bona Retarder will reduce the risk of the finish drying too quickly and leaving roller marks in the dried coat. This also means that the risks of overlapping and discolouration are minimized.

Other treatments, no matter how natural, change the original texture and appearance significantly. Bona Naturale doesn’t. It just keeps the wood looking the way nature intended. Bona Naturale is available for pre-finished floors (Bona Naturale UV-system) as well as for untreated floors or floors that need renovation (Bona Naturale 1 and 2 component).

Bona Naturale Base is partly made of renewable resources and has all the advantages of a durable waterborne environmentally safe system.
