The London Borough of Hillingdon is the westernmost borough in London and forms part of Outer London. You can find London Heathrow Airport and also the famous Brunel University in the borough. Formed in 1965, the Borough combined areas from Uxbridge, Hayes, Ruislip, Yiewsley and West Drayron of Middlesex. The first name chosen for the borough was Uxbridge and later revised to Hillingdon.
