Description

This flooring product offers a Tongue & Groove fitting system, making it suitable for nail-down or glue-down installations. This product is suitable for Underfloor Heating.

V4 Alpine, Brushed Oak Engineered Flooring, Rustic, Brushed, Matt & UV Lacquered, 150x14x1900mm is a beautiful bevelled flooring, brushed and sealed in matt lacquer finish. It is a part of the Alpine Collection.

The Alpine Collection features a range of rustic oak and walnut engineered wood floor planks. Alpine wood floors are available in a range of sizes, surface finishes and colour tones to suit your preferred wood floor style. It is an innovative collection curated specifically for architects, designers and commercial clients.

A series of 6 steel brushes are applied to remove the soft grain from the top layer of the rustic hardwood surface whilst sympathetically following the natural contours of the wide section of oak. The wear layer is then spray-coated with 6 coats of durable aluminium brushed matt lacquer. The resulting plank is both wonderfully tactile and ultimately hardwearing, the rich, textured surface deflecting everyday wear and scratches.

Alpine Flooring is a tongue and groove flooring which can be installed as a floating floor. The subfloor is key to a successful installation and will help ensure your floor performs to its best. The subfloor is likely to be either wooden or a cement-based screed. Engineered flooring may be installed as a floating floor, which means that the boards are joined together and loose laid over the subfloor, instead of being fully bonded with adhesive or secret nails. When bonding tongue and groove PVAC adhesive should be applied evenly with a continuous bead, along the top of the grooved joint.
