    What Is Engineered Wood Flooring?

    Engineered wood flooring combines a real wood surface with a layered core. Construction, surface thickness and fitting method vary by product. Check the product specification to choose a floor suited to your room and installation.

    Suitability for underfloor heating, kitchens and conservatories depends on the specific floor and installation conditions. Sanding and refinishing depend on the remaining wear layer and manufacturer guidance; ask us before planning a renovation.

    Which Flooring Type Is Best for Underfloor Heating?

    Some engineered wood, laminate and LVT/SPC products are suitable for specified underfloor heating systems. Confirm compatibility for the exact product, heating system, subfloor and fitting method before ordering.

    Follow the manufacturer's limits for surface temperature, thermal resistance, moisture and commissioning. Water-resistant or waterproof product claims do not automatically make a complete floor installation suitable for every wet area.
