A new Hardwax Oil – Osmo Polyx Oil Pure 2K has recently been presented by the leading manufacturer of wood floor finishes Osmo UK.

Osmo Polyx Oil 2K is solvent-free hard wax oil ideal for professional application on interior wood flooring like parquet, solid wood, and engineered wood.  It is the only Hardwax Oil product on the commercial market today that offers a combination of exceptional durability, extremely big coverage and quick drying time.

Osmo Polyx Oil Pure 2K smashes any completion with the coverage of approx. 30-40 m² per litre. Two coats need to be applied on unfinished wood flooring with only 30-60 minutes drying time in between. The solution is fast-drying so it allows you to walk on the flooring after only 4 hours following the application of the final coat.

Despite the thin layers of solution applied, Osmo Polyx 2K offers ultimate protection and durability. The combination of vegetable oils and waxes with water repellent additives allows resistance against spillages and stains.

Another distinctive feature of Osmo Polyx Oil 2K is that it can be applied to tropical or darker wood species which is not the case with other wood floor sealants.
