For extremely extended life, aluminium oxide abrasive employs a strong E weight "crack resistant" paper backing that has been electrocoated and is completely resin-over-resin bonded with aluminium oxide grit. It is designed to be used as a heavy-duty abrasive for hand sanding as well as general purpose machine sanding of wood in orbital sanders, such as sheet and palm sanders, for the preparation of paint in the decorating industry.
