How to apply Loba Viva
It is recommended to apply a prime coat using either EasyPrime or PrimaSeal Plus. Ensure that the surface has been properly sanded, with a wood moisture content of 12% max. Additionally, the floor must be completely dry and free from any old coatings, oil, grease, wax, silicone, sanding dust, or other contaminants. Maintain a room temperature between +15°C to +25°C and a relative humidity between 40% to 75%, with the material temperature ranging from +18°C to +25°C. Adequately ventilate the working areas during application.
Able to recoat without intermediate sanding within the first 24 hours. After this time, an intermediate sanding is necessary. An intermediate sanding before the last application will achieve an even finish. Use sanding pads grit 120 or finer. Carefully remove dust before overcoating.
Regarding drying time, the earliest possible recoating can be done after 4-6 hours, with careful use also possible within this timeframe. Intermediate sanding can be done after 8-10 hours. Light use of the floor is acceptable after 24 hours, while full use and covering are possible after 5 days.
