LOBA 2K Fusion is a waterborne 2-component polyurethane finish specially designed for wooden floors exposed to extremely heavy wear. Known for its elasticity and outstanding chemical and abrasion resistance, it offers superior protection for your floors.
How to apply LOBA 2K Fusion
It is recommended to apply a prime coat using EasyPrime or PrimaSeal Plus first. Shake the product well, then add the hardener to the base at a ratio of 10:1 and shake again to thoroughly mix. If mixing smaller quantities, use a mixing container or a scale to accurately measure the components.
The mixed product remains usable for up to 2 hours after mixing. Before application, ensure that the surface has been properly sanded, with a wood moisture content not exceeding 12%. Additionally, the floor must be dry and free from any old coatings, oil, grease, wax, silicone, sanding dust, or other contaminants.
Maintain a room temperature between +15°C to +25°C, with a relative humidity of 40% to 75%, and a material temperature ranging from +18°C to +25°C. Adequate ventilation in the working areas during application is essential. Transfer the material to a varnish bucket before applying, and remember to shake the contents well. The product is supplied ready for use and must not be diluted.
Intermediate sanding
You can recoat without intermediate sanding within the first 24 hours. However, after this time, performing an intermediate sanding is necessary. Doing so before the last application will result in a more even finish. Use sanding pads grit 120 or finer. Carefully remove any dust before overcoating.
Drying time
The earliest possible recoating can be done after 4-6 hours, with careful use also possible within this timeframe. Intermediate sanding can be done after 8-10 hours. Light use of the floor is acceptable after 24 hours, while full use and covering are possible after 5 days.
