One great product is Kahrs Johan Oak Engineered Wood Flooring, Brushed, Handscraped, Oiled, 187x3.5x15mm in rustic flooring grade and beige colour. An unexpected benefit to the wire brushed floors, in general, is their ability to mask some extra small damages like dents and scratches as part of the character of the flooring.
Kahrs has chosen wood as its based raw materials due to the fact that it is the most eco-friendly, looks great and it can be shaped in many various ways. Kahrs offers different options for plank patterns including 1 - 2 or 3 strips which means, for example, that the 2-strip have a surface layer of one board with 2 strips of wood pieces side by side.
By picking a board with a silk matt finish you get no artificial shine added and with a coat so thin you still get to experience the true grain and texture of the wood. Each layer in the engineered flooring is designed to face a different direction thus ensuring the stability of the plank during temperature or humidity fluctuation.
