Tradition Classics Lorraine Engineered Oak Flooring, Smoked, Distressed, White Oiled is designed to be tough, durable and restorable. It is composed of three layers, the top layer being real wood at 4 mm thickness.
Tradition Classics Lorraine Engineered Oak Flooring, Smoked, Distressed, White Oiled is suitable for properties with underfloor heating. It contains a real wood top layer and several thinner layers of material underneath it. Due to its construction, the engineered floorboards are the most moisture-resistant hardwood boards.
The oiled surface treatment emphasizes the natural look, texture and grain of the wood. Floors treated with natural oil are easy to maintain, but they need a little more care and should be treated regularly with oil maintenance products.
Engineered floors can be installed as floating floors over underlay or fully bonded using adhesives. It can be installed as a floating floor which means that the boards are joined together and loose laid over the subfloor, instead of being fully bonded with adhesive or secret nailed. It could be also installed directly to concrete or sand cement screed sub-floors, or to suitable wood-based sub-floors.
