Number of coats: A maximum of 2 coats can be applied to raw surfaces, only 1 coat for wooden flooring. Once dry, apply a final coat of one of the clear Polyx® Oils.

Application Instructions:
For best results, apply one tinted coat followed by a clear topcoat of Osmo Polyx®-Oil:
- First Coat: Apply approx. 30 ml/m² of Polyx®-Oil Tints on sanded wood. Correct any errors within 30 minutes.
- Drying Time: Allow 24 hours under standard conditions (23°C, 50% humidity). Ensure good ventilation.
- Optional Smoothing: Lightly sand (P400) before applying the topcoat.
- Second Coat: Apply approx. 35 ml/m² of clear Polyx®-Oil. Drying time: 8–10 hours.
- For white base coats: A second coat of Polyx®-Oil Tints White (3040) is recommended.
Important Notes:
- Not recommended for exotic wood species like Merbau, Wenge, or Jatoba
- For tropical woods, use Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin as a base coat

- First Coat: Apply approx. 35 ml/m² to raw, sanded wood. Adjust finish within 30 minutes if needed.
- Light Colour Effect: Wipe with a cloth or white pad along the grain within 20 minutes of application.
- For Intense Colour: Apply a second coat (max. 2 coats). Recommended for furniture and joinery only.
- Flooring Base Coat: Allow 24-hour drying, then apply a clear Polyx®-Oil topcoat (35 ml/m²). Drying time: 8–10 hours.
- For white-toned floors: Finish with Polyx®-Oil Tints White (3040) as a topcoat.
